Sell your packages

We're really happy to say that:
NOW you can sell your packages on YouRepo ! Currently, we accept 3 payment methods. CoinPayments.net, Paypal.com & Stripe.com.

PayPal.com

1 - PayPal Business Account

To sell packages using PayPal, you need a Business account, you can sign up or upgrade your current PayPal account using this link: (https://www.paypal.com/bizsignup/)
When the page asks how you want to accept payments, say on your website.

2 - Auto Convert Currency

For YouRepo to work properly, all payments need to be auto converted. To set this, up go to the following link and select the auto convert currency option near the top and press save : https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-pref

3 - Become verified on YouRepo

The YouRepo Maintainers will need your YouRepo Account Username, this can be found on your YouRepo Settings Page. After they add you as a developer you will need update your Source Settings and set your PayPal email. This is the link to the Source Settings : https://www.yourepo.com/user/repo

4 - You're Good to Go

You can now upload packages on YouRepo, simply go to the "Manage your packages" tab and upload your first package (.deb) or create a theme using our Theme Creator tool.

5 - Reduce PayPal Fees (Optional)

PayPal will currently charge you around 2.9% of each sale plus a 0.30 USD flat fee on each sale you make. This can be reduced to around 5% of each sale but with only a 0.05 USD flat fee for each sale. You reduce the fees by calling PayPal Customer Support and telling them that you sell items that cost less than $5 and that you would like to enable “Micropayment Fees” on your account. This can take up to 24 hours to happen but is definitely worth your time to call them and have them does this.

6 - Accept credit card without PayPal account (Optional)

By default, PayPal will not accept users who do not have an account. To turn the feature off, simply go to the Profile subtab, click on Website Payment Preferences under the Selling Preferences column, and check the yes/no box under PayPal Account Optional. https://www.paypal.com/businessmanage/preferences/website

CoinPayments.net

1 - CoinPayments Account

To use CoinPayments to sell your packages you need an account, you can sign up using this link: https://www.coinpayments.net/

2 - Become verified on YouRepo

The YouRepo Maintainers will need your YouRepo Account Username, this can be found on your YouRepo Settings Page. After they add you as a developer you will need update your Source Settings and set your Merchant ID and your IPN Secret. You can find your Merchant ID on My Account page. The next step is to go to My Settings page and set a IPN Secret. This is the link to the Source Settings : https://www.yourepo.com/user/repo

3 - You're Good to Go

You can now upload packages on YouRepo, simply go to the "Manage your packages" tab and upload your first package (.deb) or create a theme using our Theme Creator tool.

Stripe.com

1 - Stripe Account

To use Stripe to sell your packages you need an account, you can sign up using this link: https://dashboard.stripe.com/register. Of course, you need to fully activate your account on Stripe to accept real payments. But you can also use Test Mode to try our system.

2 - Become verified on YouRepo

The YouRepo Maintainers will need your YouRepo Account Username, this can be found on your YouRepo Settings Page. After they add you as a developer you will need update your Source Settings and set your Publishable Key and your Secret Key. You can find these informations following this link: https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/apikeys. Else, these are the steps to follow. In your Dashboard, click on Developers in left menu, then in the submenu that has just opened, choose API Keys. If you cannot see your API keys in the Dashboard, this means you do not have access to them. Contact your Stripe account’s owner and ask to be added to their team as a developer. Once time you have these informations, update your Source Settings : https://www.yourepo.com/user/repo

3 - You're Good to Go

You can now upload packages on YouRepo, simply go to the "Manage your packages" tab and upload your first package (.deb) or create a theme using our Theme Creator tool.
